The Experimental School of Mime and Titeres founded in 1998 AS ALTERNATIVE PEDAGOGICAL DUE TO THE ABSENCE OF OFFICIAL SCHOOLS OF MIMO IN OUR LATIN AMERICAN REGION composed of students, pedagogues, actors and scenographers from the National Higher School of Dramatic Art and organizers of the International, National, Metropolitan Festivals, Mime Encounters and the National Puppet Festivals.
They have been exploring and developing such arts as mime, theater, circus and puppets through the gesture from a dramatic approach that point to the creation of Circus, Mime and Puppet Schools in Peru
