A first in Turkey: Pantomim training in university …
“Pantomim Art Dalı”, founded by Vecihi Ofluoglu in Istanbul University State Conservatory’s Semi-timed field of education in the field of music and performing arts, started a training and education in Turkey in 2006-2007 academic year.
The stage, movement, dance, body and performance, game writing-practice, fencing and rhythmic lessons are given at the Pantomim art branch by the instructor and pantomime artist Vecihi Ofluoglu. Assessment in the student’s examination is based on the candidate’s use of body, expression ability, dancing appropriate to the pantomime art education, and playability. Pantomim education is 3 years.
