Mario Valdez

Mario Valdez was born in 1950 in Cuzco, Peru and discovered his passion for theater at an early age. At the age of 8 he made his debut in his hometown, at the age of fifteen he founded his first own theater troupe “Horizonte Risueno” in Lima with which he became nationally known.

At the age of 23, performing arts took him across borders to Brazil and from there to France, where he founded a pantomime festival and studied drama at the University of Nancy for three years.

His plays have led Mario Valdez on numerous tours through many countries in Europe, Latin America and the USA. He won prizes at festivals, gained television experience and taught pantomime in Nancy, Barcelona, ​​Palermo and Bern.

For the circus, he created his most famous comic pantomime number BEFORE MAN AND WOMAN and completed several tours through France, Italy and Switzerland. With his show CINEMIME he performed u. a. in London at Chessington’s World of Adventures, in Germany at the Holiday Park in Hassloch and at gala events worldwide.

Married since 1988 to a German and lives Mario Valdez today in Germany. His extensive repertoire offers contributions for a variety of occasions and is characterized by a high degree of professionalism. He has always focused on comedy, because life is full of problems, he wants to take his audience into a world of laughter.
