“An american-german mime company. Since it was founded in Warsaw and rehearses in Istanbul, you can call it truly international. Performing in a modern style but with occasional recourse e.g. on the style of 1900.
Mind Movement Research is a mime duo. So it is more than the sum of its parts. Both Eric Wilcox and Jan Romberg are educated in classical pantomime but combine additional skills and styles – and different cultural backgrounds.
– Mind Movement Research by Eric Wilcox and Jan Romberg was found in Warsaw and resides in Theaters in Dresden and Istanbul. The name expresses our approach of pantomime and development. It is about mind, it is using movement but just to stimulate the imagination. I think therefore I am (a mime).
